Pottery by the Creek is located in rural southwest Iowa just outside of the town of Carson. It is nestled in a valley with a creek running past, surrounded by 400 acres of conservation land and timber. The setting is ideal for the creative energies of artist Paul Koch. Guests who come to visit the showroom feel the spirituality of the land that nourishes an atmosphere that is conducive to creativity.
The studio consists of a pottery work area, art studio and show room. Each piece of pottery is uniquely hand thrown or built by Paul Koch. The paintings are made in the spirit of energy and passion for the images and reflect the energy that abounds in the area.
